COURSE OFFERED: 

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or B.S. is one of the most popular academic degree courses among the science students after class 12th. The duration of B.Sc. degree course ranges from 3 years . The B.Sc. degree course is a graduate degree course in Science; this can be a part-time or full-time course. This course forms the basis of science and comprises of the subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, zoology and mathematics. With the advancements in the area of science and technology, this program has become a one of the highly studied degree course in the Institutions of India. After the completion of the B.Sc degree there are various options available for the science students, they can go for master degree in Science i.e. M.Sc, go in a research area and can even look for professional job oriented courses. Often, in some reputed universities or colleges in India and abroad the students are recruited directly by big MNC’s after their completion of the course.

BACHELOR OF COMMERCE

B.Com. stands for Bachelor of Commerce. The course can be pursued either as a Full Time Graduate Course or Part Time Graduate Course i.e. through Correspondence or Distance Education depending upon one’s choice. B.Com. (General) is often referred as simply B.Com. or B.Com. Pass Course. It is General in the sense that it is not Subject Specific and one can choose a number of combinations of subjects, apart from 1-2 Compulsory Subjects. These combinations vary from institute to institute. B.Com. degree programs generally last 3 to 4 years depending upon the country. Mostly the duration of Bachelor of Commerce Degree spans over a period of 3 years. A person seeking the Commerce Degree needs to study 5-7 subjects. One can opt for various combinations depending upon the availability of choices in various Institutes. Those candidates who are unable to clear it in 3 years can clear it in certain number of years depending upon the education policy of an institute. Most of the Institutes offer change of Elective Subjects in the 2nd year depending upon one’s performance or choice. Certain Institutes admit students who have passed 1st or 2nd year from another institute depending upon fulfilment of the institutes rules and regulations. Bachelor of Commerce is considered as the second most preferred option for those who are not able to get admission in Science and those who think that Arts Degree is a lesser cousin of a Commerce Course. Bachelor of Commerce course is offered in many different disciplines to train candidates in a particular field. The degree provides the students with a wide range of managerial skills and competence in a particular area of Commerce. It equips students with the knowledge of accounting principles, export and import laws, economic policies and other aspects that impacts trade and business.

BACHELOR OF ARTS

Bachelor of Arts is one of the oldest and well known undergraduate academic programs in the world. It is commonly known as BA which is a three year program in India. A large number of courses are covered under the arts category, including the languages, History, Geography, designing courses, Journalism, Philosophy, and Psychology etc. are some of the popular courses in the arts category. The field of study includes the non-scientific and non-technological areas. The greatest advantage of pursuing the arts program is unlike the Engineering and Science field. The learning options for the graduates are not limited to any specific areas and the scope of specialization is large for the BA holder. It also increases the employment opportunity of the graduate. Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) is one of the popular courses among the students who want to make their career in the IT (Information Technology) field. The duration of the course is 3 years. It comprises of the subjects like database, networking, data structure, core programming languages like ‘C’ and ‘java’. MASTER OF SCIENCE (ZOOLOGY, BOTANY)

National Service Scheme (NSS) – CLG Degree College

Introduction

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The primary aim of NSS is to develop the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service. CLG Degree College proudly hosts a vibrant NSS Unit that actively engages in a wide range of social, environmental, and nation-building activities.
